Ella was our purebred Bernese Mountain Dog and the original “Mountain Dog.” She was the inspiration for the company name, and our logo was based on a photo of Ella. She was born in Des Moines, IA, and was a part of the family for 10 1/2 years. She lived all over the world with us, including Colorado Springs, CO, Washington DC, South Korea and Washington state. She was a calm, friendly girl that always barked a welcome when someone came to visit. She loved taking walks around Liberty Lake, and running at the family ranch.
